Electric Cloud

Electric Cloud, Inc. is a privately held software corporation specializing in high-performance software build tools. Electric Cloud is based in Sunnyvale, California and currently offers two products. The first product, ElectricAccelerator, speeds up make, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Apache Ant based builds by parallelizing them[1] and running them on a computer cluster. The second product is ElectricCommander, a Web-based application for defining and executing distributed processes such as those used for building and testing software applications. Both products support Solaris on SPARC systems, Microsoft Windows, and Red Hat Linux[2]. ElectricCommander also supports HP-UX, Solaris on x86 systems and Mac OS X. Electric Cloud also created SparkBuild, a free tool that speeds developer builds and provides build debugging facilities.

Electric Cloud was founded in 2002 by John Ousterhout, the creator of Tcl, and John Graham-Cumming.
